This is one magnificent Tourmaline. The piece of rough that this was cut from was just too nice to cut into two, so one large stone was faceted. It is a real sparkler, no treatment of any kind. Due to the nature of tourmaline (dichroism – a physical property), this bright lively stone displays glowing neon green and yellowish green of medium tone. Very attractive collector’s gem! This stone is transparent, vvs clarity. A small feather in this stone, but does not take away from its beauty. It should set well in about any jewelry design. Lots of sparkle and flash, different and beautiful!
